Dorothea was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on April 7, 1932. She said farewell to this life and went to meet her Savior on July 22, 2022, with her three children and two of her granddaughters by her side.
She was one of seven children to Nels and Alina Olgren. Dorothea is survived by her son, Dan, and her daughters, Cindy and Edie, as well as 9 grandchildren – Clifton, Jennifer, Jonathan, Preston, Stacey, Heather, Nathan, Amy, and Hannah -- and 16 great grandchildren.
Dorothea lived a long meaningful life in Michigan, Wisconsin, California, Arizona, and Idaho. Everyone who knew her commented on her sweet disposition. She loved to prepare meals for guests and family. She had a servant’s heart and dedicated her life to her family. It will be hard to imagine our family and the world without her kindness.

Dorothea is to be buried in Idaho at the Melba Cemetery next to her great granddaughter, Aeva, who preceded her in death.
