Obituary of Vickie Lynn Beaver

Vickie L. Beaver, 57, of Caldwell, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at home. A memorial service will be at10:00 AM Monday, February 2, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Vickie was born 10-15-1951 to Norma Phillis and John Anderson in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. They had another daughter Debbie in 1953. Phillis divorced the girls' father and moved to Idaho where she married Roy Frank and together they had two more children, Lou Jean Frank and Ron Frank. When Vickie was twenty, she married James Lynch, they had a son they named James Lynch Jr who Phillis nicknamed Jot after her father. When Jot was four years old, Vickie and James divorced. James left the valley but Vickie and Jot stayed here to be near her family. Vickie loved her mother very much. When Jot was eight Vickie married Allan Scott but divorced him after 12 years. Vickie was born with a heart defect and had open heart surgery when she was 7 years old. In 1991, Vickie was in a terrible auto accident and had many injuries including a broken neck which left her partially disabled. In 2005 her beloved mother got cancer. Even with Vickie's injuries and health problems, she took care of her mother until her death in 2006. Vickie had many friends who loved her. She especially loved to go to yard sales with Linda, to the movies with Marvin, Nancy and LaShawnda and just running errands with her sister Debbie. Vickie loved to be around people and she convinced her best friend Pat to move here from Arizona. They shared Vickie's home for the last six years. Vickie loved to go on trips with her niece Becky and sister Debbie. She especially loved the trips to the Oregon Coast. Vickie's favorite trip was when she and Debbie went to Oklahoma to see their mother's family. The stayed with their Aunt Daisy and had a wonderful time. Vickie's life was short but she made an impression on everyone she met and she will be missed. Service Information
