Obituary of Kirk Anderson

 

  David Kirk Anderson was born on December 6, 1950, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Norma June and Andy Anderson.  He was raised in Minnesota, Texas, Oklahoma and Iowa.  After graduating from high school, he discovered the West and graduated from Utah State University.  He became a teacher and school psychologist serving in Nevada at an Indian Reservation before moving to the Boise area. He and his side kick Spatz served the students at Vallivue for 18 years.

 

  Kirk also enjoyed the out of doors and he biked across states, rafted the Colorado River and camped.  He even learned the art of fishing in his later years.  His life was fulfilled working with kids and their families and enjoying travel.

 

  Kirk is survived by his sister, Andrea Anderson Thorpe, and her family, as well as his constant companion Chip.

 

  A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
