My heartfelt condolences to all of you... Anne and I knew each other through so many of life's gifts and of life's challenges. From traveling in her car, a 4 door baby blue galaxy she named 'Mel' across the state, to the day the judge awarded Steve a birthday present to be Craig's legal father. A few moves from Idaho to Maltby and Monroe where we got to spend birthdays of our kids together... Steve telling the boys... 'kennel up ladies' when it was time to go. A road trip to visit in Idaho, where the kids ran circles around us in the front yard, and Tim tried to swallow a bee, stinging his lip before he spit it out. The honor of being with Anne during her Dad's memorial, with her telling me to sit in the front row because I was family.
The last text I have from Anne was in August, I will always keep this, it says everything in a nutshell... we were talking about grandkids... "They become your whole life. Teagen my oldest grandson is 18. He will be here this weekend. They make me so happy." and the last line... "Steve bought me a t-shirt that says something like 'Along the lines of baby's are my favorite people', if I find the shirt I will text you the saying.
She never texted me the exact saying... but I knew exactly what she meant. Thank you to her entire family, for being her everything.
