Obituary of Angelita Salinas-Kiser
Angelita “Angie” Salinas-Kiser, 55, of Caldwell, Idaho, entered eternal peace on January 4, 2023, at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho.
Angie was born to Eusebio and Amelia Salinas on December 29, 1967, in McAllen, Texas.
Angie’s family relocated to Caldwell, Idaho, where she attended school. She had various jobs before finding her passion as a Home Health Care Provider.
Angie’s most cherished blessings were her son, Vicente Salinas, and her six grandchildren. She loved her sisters dearly and considered them her best friends. Angie enjoyed spending time with her family, singing, shopping, going on walks, and watching beautiful sunsets. She never failed to capture a special moment with a picture or a video; her family will be forever grateful for these precious memories.
Angie was a devout Christian. She loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart. Angie was also a powerful prayer warrior. Only heaven knows what a wonderful and lasting impact all of her faithful praying has had on her family and friends.
Angie is survived by her sisters; Rosalinda (Jose) Molina of Weslaco, Texas, Gloria Allen and Olga (Salvador) Ochoa of Caldwell, Idaho; her son, Vicente Salinas of Caldwell, Idaho; grandsons, Vicente Salinas Jr., Nicholas Salinas, Lucas Salinas, and Timothy Salinas; a granddaughter; Amelia Salinas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents; Eusebio and Amelia Salinas; her brothers, Eusebio Salinas Jr., Arnold Salinas, and Andres Salinas; sister, San Juanita Salinas and her grandson, Arnold “AJ” Salinas.
Angie’s faith, courage, and strong will helped her persevere through her many health challenges over the last year. Angie was a true inspiration to not only her family, but all those that knew her story, and all that she overcame throughout her healthcare journey. As a family, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff at St. Alphonsus for caring for Angie.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on 1/12/2023 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, followed by a graveside service at 1:30pm at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
