Obituary of Katherene Ann Johnson

Katherene (Kathy) Ann Johnson age 79 passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on April 3, 2023. Kathy was born July 14, 1943 in Steele City Nebraska to Harry & Christine Gammel. After a short few years they relocated to Parma, Idaho, this is where they settled and called it home. At a young age Kathy began working in the fields to help her family. Later in life she relocated to Caldwell, Idaho where she started her career at Simplot where she spent the next 30 years working a full time job while raising her family. She later Retired at the age of 61. She then dedicated the rest of her life to raising her family generation after generation.
 Kathy was welcomed at the Heavens Gates by her mother, father, several siblings, multiple great grandchildren as well as many loved ones. Katherene has left behind her three children; Tracy Collins, Celeste Gammel, David Collins as well as several grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Our family would like to thank the Idaho Hospice doctor team that helped care for her in the last days of her life here on earth.
