Obituary of Donald John Bachman

Donald J Bachman, 71, passed away suddenly at his home in Caldwell, Idaho on May 17th, 2023.  Don was born in Klamath, California February 4th, 1952, to John and Korine Bachman. 

Don is survived by his beloved wife Charlene who he loved dearly; sons; Donnie, Steven (Sarah), and Rob (Tammie); daughters; Shelley, Karen, Lisa (Roy), Tresa (Robbie), and Wendy; 37 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren.  Don is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Kristina. 

Don was a true engineer who had a passion for building and creating things.  You could always find him in his shop tinkering with or making something!  He was always willing to help his family, friends, and neighbors with any project or task they had.  Don retired from Idaho Power in 2015 and alongside Charlene, they became snowbirds, splitting their time between Idaho and Arizona.  Don loved camping with friends and family and exploring the great outdoors on his side-by-side with Charlene.  He enjoyed riding the open road on his motorcycle with his dog Lexi, flying his drone in the desert and so much more.  Don was loved dearly and held in high esteem by friends and family.  He will truly be missed.
