Obituary of Francisco Martinez-Roman

In the early morning of June 29, 2023, Francisco “Pancho, Che” Martinez Roman Jr., passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, ID. Francisco was 33 years old. Francisco was born to Francisco and Gloria Martinez in 1990 in Tehuixtla, Guerrero, México, though he spent most of his life residing in Marsing, ID. Francisco was full of life and known for his good sense of humor and laughter among his friends and family. Francisco was always seen wearing an Oakland Athletics baseball cap. Francisco loved watching soccer and always had music playing around him. He enjoyed spending time in his mother’s garden and caring for his favorite flower, orchids. Francisco is preceded in death by his grandmother, Felix Roman. He is survived by his son, Julian Ponce; his father, Francisco; his mother, Gloria; and sisters, Juana, Marisela, Maria, Andrea, Leticia, and Gloria; brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. A public visitation will be held from 9 AM to 10 AM, followed by a service at 10 AM on July 11, 2023, at Marsing Church of the Nazarene and graveside burial at Marsing-Homedale Cemetery.
