Obituary of Cindy Renee Pinto

Cindy Renee Pinto (Ward) April 16, 1973 - August 9, 2023.

Cindy (50) passed away in her sleep in Nampa, Idaho on August 9, 2023 from terminal cancer. While she has lost the battle to cancer, she has forever won and blessed many hearts and souls in her short time here on this Earth. She was a CNA. She was a mother. She was a wife. She was a sister. She was a daughter. She was an aunt. She was a niece. She was a friend.

Cindy was born in Houston, Texas. She was the youngest child in a home full of brothers (4) and sisters (4). She married Melvin Pinto on June 28, 1995. They celebrated 28 years of marriage, raised three children, and had one granddaughter. She is survived by her husband, her three children: Thomas (27), Shelby (24), and Hailey (21), her sisters: Vickie Sink, Tammie Rose, TaJuana Ingram, and Jolynda Rankin, her granddaughter Aryella, her brothers: Tommy Jr., Frank, and Jimmy, and her many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents: Tommy Greene Ward Sr. and Sylvia Ann Ward, and her brother, Johnny Ward.

Cindy was a hospice CNA at Horizon Home Health and Hospice. She worked as a CNA around the Treasure Valley area for many years. She was a natural caregiver and had the gift of hospitality. She was hardworking at her job and as a mom and a wife. She was an amazing cook and always opened her home to anyone and everyone; even if it was an interruption to her day, she didn’t make a fuss about it. She was hospitable, nurturing, caring, gentle, warm, and tender. She had a beautiful smile, and her hugs were very special and enveloping.

Cindy loved to dance and sing karaoke. She was a truly positive and kind soul, who will forever be missed and adored by all who knew and loved her.
