



Obituary of Lynda Kay Gammett
Lynda Kay Gammett October 3rd, 1951 - August 9th, 2023. Lynda passed away peacefully at her home in Homedale Idaho where she resided for 30 years. In which 20 years of her stay there was with her loving husband and life partner James A Gammett.
Lynda was born in Nampa Idaho and was raised in both Marsing Idaho and Kuna Idaho. She graduated from Kuna High School in 1970. Later on she received her Cosmetology Degree in Boise Idaho.
Lynda was one of six children to the late Bert and Elizabeth Spencer. She was also the beloved wife of the late James A Gammett for 35 years.
Lynda will forever be remembered by her devoted and loving siblings William ( Vickie), Ruth (Wayne), Kathy, and James. She will never be forgotten by her dedicated and loving children James D, Chuck, Christine, Janet, Randy ( Samantha), and Julie ( Richard). Lynda treasured all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Sheri ( Victoria and Sean), Amanda ( Sebastian), Megan, Brittany, Ilene, Logan, Lita ( Amethyst), Melissa ( Kylie and Freya), Elizabeth ( Carter, Chase, and Caiden), Robert, Diana ( Benjamin), Catherine, Jonathan, Gwenevere, Zachary ( Jaiden, Abel, K-Lynn, and Emma), Amber ( Dallas and Kaiden), Caleb ( Athena), Cody ( Corbin and Aiden), Amber ( Aurora), Ritchie, and Emily. Along with countless cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends who were blessed to know her.
Lynda loved playing and spending time with her precious and loving dog Doc, fishing, gardening, crafting, bowling, playing darts, and spending time with family and friends.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents Bert and Elizabeth Spencer, one sister Goldie, and her loving, life long soulmate and husband James A Gammett.
Lynda touched many lives with her smile, laugh, and generosity. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing service on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at 27 East Owyhee Ave. in Homedale Idaho. There will be a potluck dinner following services and the location will be announced via Facebook and also on your program at her viewing.
