Obituary of Ramon Vargas, Jr.

Ramon Vargas Jr. “Ray” was born August 17, 1955 in Pharr, Texas, sadly passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 68 at Cascadia of Boise. Ramon was born to Ramon Vargas, Sr. and Maria Vargas. Ramon had one daughter, Brittany Daylong; three sisters, Janie V. Molina, Lulu Godina and Mirtha Gonzalez. Ramon came to Idaho in 1962 and was raised in Wilder, Idaho. He attended school in Wilder, graduating in 1975. He then when on to work for Simplot for 38 years. Ramon volunteered  at Our Lady of The Valley Catholic Church and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Those who knew Ramon knew that he was a big fan of the NFL team, Miami Dolphins.

It will definitely hurt that he’s no longer with us, but he’s no longer suffering and in pain. We will love and miss you so much. Until we meet again.
