
Obituary of Adan Gonzalez
Adan Gonzalez Sr was born on March 27, 1937 in Eagle Pass. Texas to Antonio and Delia (Lopez) Gonzalez. He spent his early years traveling around the country working in fields and orchards. He became a hard worker early in his life and worked hard throughout his life. He met the love of his life, Amelia Rojas. In 1956 they married and settled in Caldwell, ID. Soon after he began working for Yamamoto Farms where he stayed until his retirement. He loved working the farm life and especially loved the Yamamotos as they treated him like family. Adan loved and took good care of his family. He had a great sense of humor, and would help anyone out if he could. He went to meet his Savior on September 3, 2023.
Adan was preceded in death by his wife, parents, infant children Susana and Jesus, three of his sisters and brothers-in-law. He is survived by his children Adan (Paula) Gonzalez, Berta (Rolando) Garza, Diana (Jose) Peredo, sisters Elida (Abelino) Montemeyer, Maria (Alfredo) Rodriguez, three brothers Antonio Gonzalez, Juan (Carmen) DeLuna and Raul (Karen) DeLuna, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces and in-laws.
A viewing for friends and family will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm with Rosary Recital starting at 7:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery. Condolences and memories can be shared at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com
